Meet Dr. Kurt T. Bowers, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Bowers is a native of Bloomington-Normal and is a graduate of Bloomington High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree, a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, a Master’s Degree and a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, all from the University of Iowa. He has been in private practice in Bloomington since 1993.
Dr. Bowers is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association and is a past president of the McLean County Dental Society. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Bowers is married to Dr. Stephanie Hanneman Bowers, who also is an Orthodontist and a consultant to the practice. They have two adult daughters, Kallan and Brynn. In his spare time, Dr. Bowers enjoys traveling, scuba diving and competing in triathlons. He has completed 7 Ironman triathlons, including the Ironman World Champoinship in Kona, Hawaii.
